Kajaktour at Four Mile Cove
Kayaking at Four Mile Cove Eco Preserve in Cape Coral
A recommended destination in Cape Coral is approximately 150 hectares nature reserve "Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve", which is also called "Eco Park".
Gently and almost silently slides the kayak through the brownish muddy water. On both sides and from above and surrounded by lush mangroves. Very rarely only the silence is broken by the distant cry of a bird or the wing beat of a frightened green heron in front of us. Paddling on a small, unnamed watercourse which is the main arm "Alligator Creek" later and finally flows into the Caloosahatchee River. After about forty-five minutes you come to a bridge and have the kayak pull ashore.
